There are a few individuals that are rating albums either a 1 or a 5 in attempt to skew the album rating. This is called vote stuffing and I don't care for it. I frequently audit the album ratings for this. I will remove all of your votes if you do this. If you are habitual offender I will even lock you out of voting entirely.
Please grade the album appropriately. We even created half-star increments for you to take advantage of (unlike amazon.com).

all new wave and pop bands deserve my unrestraited 1 
this is extreme censorship, every one got the right to speak(choose) there mind(vote)
 this sucks , i lost my words, i gues this is how democracy is in america

I'd suspect if you rate 1, or a few, albums with 1 or 5 stars you'd be OK. However, if he looks at your record and you've rated 100 albums at 1 star (or something like that) then that would be suspicious. It's not unlike throwing out outliers in statistics.
As for "how democracy works in America"...well, 1) 1980s.fm isn't America, and 2) 1980s.fm isn't a democracy.

i just said how i felt about this rule, i mean i'm no expert in rating music, so offcourse i'll vote unfair.
i never heard of this kind of ratting, and anyway whats the big deal is just a note, that i see i'm allowed to choose. lol
so, how many 1's i can give ?

I think you may say this. Because it is everybody's right to say his/her opinion. But their will be also people who will think the same about music you can hear at Death.FM (They will say something like: "Those musicians who only can make noise on their guitars and drums and just screaming hard to understand nonsense through a microphone")
I think you can only rate albums when you like the genre and can compare the albums with other music of the same genre. Then I think you will have a fair rating of an album.
I occasionally listen to Death.FM, but I am not a Black/Death metal fan, and therefore I do not rate those albums, because very often I like only one song of the entire album. That will result I would vote all those albums on Death.FM with one star. In my opinion this will give the wrong suggestion of the album comparing with other material of the same genre.
So lets vote for the content of the music and because it belongs to a particular genre.

yeah, but thats a lie, while i spoke the truth about pop and new wane
sure there tons of stupid bands in metal too but at least they play something.
and dont think, i only listen to metal and hard rock coz i like many more music,
i also ike lots of electronic music but not synthpop or house(modern synthpop) and garbage like that.

and btw i dont vote 1 coz is sais at genre pop, but coz i well know the band or artist from when i has young.
that was comercial music back then
comercial music = a trick for ppl with a mediocre music taste to think if alot of ppl like that band/singer that means it sounds good
