OK since there is a thread where you are asked to give your real name and some thought that it was to explain your nickname, well you can place them here.

And because I am adding this thread, I must explain mine.

I think it all started when a friend and I worked on some projects on school. One of the project was to make a very simplified simulation of our solar system.
We had to think of a name, so we thought of the star Sirius.
Sirius appears as a single star to the naked eye, but it is actually a binary star system. So we thought that was for us a good choice. Two people working on a project with a result of one.

Beside school projects we did some video projects. Make some movies for weddings and parties. So we create things and the name Sirius Creations was born.

Cool, Sirius Smile

Pesadelo is the portuguese word for nightmare. It is my nick name in Unreal Tournament arenas.

Why to use Pesadelo as a nick? There is not a clear reason. Thinking now and although I don't like thrillers very much, I find Freddy Krueger very funny Wink

zarqun is the Arabian word for hellish red and should be written like this: zarqūn
or ز ا ر ق و ن (Saoudi)

In western languages it means zircon or zirconium.

I used to be in Purchasing, so I was a "Buyer" and I'm the Queen of the Universe, so that's the rest of the story. BuyerQueen....learn it, live it, love it!

Mine is a combination of "blasphemy" and "heretic" what is a nice pleonasm
and means in one way blasphemous to the second power, another
interpretation is i'm blasphemous for being a heretic 'cause i'm not
100% atheist, then i would be a 100% believer and my god would be
called "nothing" but i believe in myself and have to admit, also my
comprehension is unable to conclude every thought i've ever started,
so i decided to recognize what i describe as the "rest risk", but i guess
this is philosophy on higher degree, laugh, at least i'm busy in thinking
about and lacking from time to perpetrate crimes or taking drugs.

Funny, Razy got his first edit on SST in exactly the same topic.

Me while on SST: Hey look, there's an 80s station now. This time I'd rather have a decent screen name.
I came up with some stupid ideas, then

Mine isn't very exciting. I am a graduate of the University of Tennessee. The school colors are orange and white. I continue to have a strong passion for my alma mater. Since most sceen names tend to duplicate, I put the year on mine to try and make it unique. In this case it did.

There are two separate origins to my nickname of Winter.

The first was a joke - I'm not particularly fond of the cold. I frequently have icy hands and fingers from October to April, and so I became Winter, the Incarnation of Cold.

The other is a little more obscure. There's a painting I saw once at an art show of a woman looking out over a frozen landscape with her hair blowing in the wind. She looked a little like me, and I could've sworn that I saw the picture before - even though the artist said she had just had it printed. Someone suggested that perhaps it was me, just not in the here and now. But that's a much more metaphysical discussion. Wink
