Daryl Hall & John Oates - H2O
Need a few more tracks available |
Agreement with Devin888, this is one album that needs more tracks....the 3 available are awesome but the title of the this album is so clever....H2O (Hall and Oats) It's like they did it on purpose.

Glass Tiger - Thin Red Line, The
A Tiger....in Canada??? |
Glass Tiger shot on the scene big time in 1986 with the hit "Don't forget Me (when I'm Gone) featuring the back ground vocals of Bryan Adams. From Newmarket, Ontario, they started early doing the local high school circuit, but as soon as they got the frequent radio play...they were set.
An amazing album and fantastic band that still tour today with pretty much all the original members.
Their follow up album was also a very worthy listen.
Also, if you are familiar with the piano cords for "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey, they are quite similar to 'Someday"

Jan Hammer, Glenn Frey, Chaka Khan (...) - Miami Vice
A ground breaking show...and a fantastic soundtrack |
Miami Vice was one of those television shows that, if you weren't there, you probably didn't get it. Nothing like the crappy movie, this show was epic. With huge guest stars like Phil Collins, Sheena Easton and Ted Nugent, to name just a few. Gritty plot lines, fantastic sets, cool cars amazing soundtracks and a script that had the feel of a modern Shakespear, it was an hour of dazzling entertainment.
As always, could use more tunes on this soundtrack as well as the sequel album.....maybe someday???

The Pursuit Of Happiness - Love Junk
Moe pursues happiness in Canada. |
Canadian group based out of Toronto, Moe Berg had that specific voice that some have compared to a more angst-filled Wierd Al Yankovic.
Drummer, Dave Gilby also had a very distinctive and identifiable sound.
"Hard to Laugh", another track on this album (not downloaded here....yet???)
was another big hit in the Great White North.
Their follow up album, one sided story is another worthy listen to, too.

Kim Carnes - Café Racers
Kim And Chris were recording in the studios next to each other. |
the track "You Make My Heart Beat Faster' has that ohohoohwahooho that sounds like the one in Chris De Burges -Don't Pay the Ferry-man----check it out and play them back to back.....SAM coincidentally did one day.
Invisible Hands is the best song on the album.

Blvd. - Blvd.

Never give up....never surrender....(that's another Canadian song) |
Canadian band, BLVD. originally from the Calgary Alberta area, produced by Bob Rock (from the Payola$) and opened for Glass Tiger when touring.

Shalamar - Look, The
who was in this group?????? |
....None other than JODY WATLEY!! Yes that's her on the cover. As well as Howard Hewitt (songwriter and had a few albums-not here ......YET) and Jeffery Daniel who has been credited with inventing the moonwalk.

Alannah Myles - Alannah Myles
Need a few more tracks available |
Alannah Myles, Canadian, and a cool vocalist. This, her debut album, featured her break out song "Love Is" which ruled Canadian music charts for months. "Black Velvet" a tribute to Elvis.
Ironically we still don't got "Still Got This Thing" from this album. Could always use more tracks from this Album.

The Album name is Actually "Bridge of Spies" and not Tpau and has some really good other Tracks like "China in your Hands" and "Intimate strangers" , "Bridge of Spies", "Valentine" and "Sex Talk" all Good Tracks in fact the Whole Album was No 8 in the Top 100 Albums of 1987. Carol Decker the lead singer was born just up the Road from where I used to live in Telford Shropshire so have followed her for longtime. Would love to see more Tracks Good Band and Good Singer all round
