This is the first solo album from Stan Ridgway, the former lead singer, songwriter and keyboard player for the L.A. new wave band Wall of Voodoo.
His style is unique - his voice has a Western twang with synthesizer-based music. Every song also tells a story.
The title track and Camouflage (#5 U.K.) were both hits. The album reached #1 in Norway. |
