Mike Oldfield is famous for albums containing long, instrumental tracks.

However, during the 80's he also had several hit singles, including "Moonlight Shadow" and "To France" with Maggie Reilly on vocals. Both reached the top ten in many countries, with "Moonlight Shadow" even topping the charts in several and becoming his biggest single.

This is a compilation album - but I have only listed vocal tracks originally released in the 80s here.

Supported. I like the cover of Hall and Oates' "Family Man." "Islands" seems pretty good, too. Smile

Actually, it is the other way around. Laughing

Oldfield originally composed Family Man, which went on to become a big success when Hall & Oates did a remake of it. Wink

I was also more familiar with the Hall & Oates version. Anyway, it would be nice to have this version too. Smile

Embarassed
Yea, that figures, since "Family Man" really doesn't sound like anything else Hall & Oates did.

Ah well, you learn something new every day... Laughing
