When requesting an album to be included in 1980s.FM playlist please adhere to the netiquette listed below. The more time you save us, the better chance you have getting your request added to the playlist.
Mandatory
1. A link to a site that gives information about the album. Purchasing links are preferred, especially Amazon.com. There may be multiple albums with the same name, let's literally get on the same page.
2. Be descriptive in your Subject.
For Example... Add: Pure 80s - Various Artists
This helps identify the thread easier. It would be difficult to look through a bunch of topics that say "A Suggestion".
3. Make sure it isn't already in the playlist.
4. Include why you think it should be added to the playlist.
Optional (But Encouraged)
1. Form your post into a poll if you know how. We like to get a feeling for what everyone else thinks about your request too.
2. Links to Listen Samples. This way we can test it out first to see if it is apprpriate to add to the playlist. Samples must not exceed 30 seconds in duration.
3. Reviews. Gives your request more justification to be added to the playlist.
4. Despite the album used as reference below, 1980s does not add compilation, various artists, or greatest hits CDs to the playlist unless there are songs exclusive to them. However, these CDs may be recommended to add specific songs. When possible, the original albums will be listed instead of the compilation, various artists, or greatest hits CD.
5. Include the album cover art. The prettier you make your request, the more attention it will get. It also makes it easier for us to identify the album when hunting it down to purchase it. Here is how to include album art:

The following code will give you the image and the URL to it at Amazon.com. Be sure to the ASIN within the code with the ASIN of the product you wish to post.
