Buy at Amazon

Track List:

2. Shake Down Billy Squier 4:08
5. Saved My Life Fee Waybill 3:47
6. Love Theme From St. Elmo's Fire [Instrumental] St. Elmos Fire 3:30
9. Georgetown David Foster 1:37

Soundtrack
1985
USA

Samples:

Link to Shake Down
Link to Saved My Life

There are many great hits from this album here (it's already reached 100+ plays for each of its tracks), but the nice instrumental version of "For Just A Moment (Love Theme From St. Elmo's Fire)" isn't here yet. There's no question: the vocal version is nice, but it almost sounds like a completely different song (at least to my ears). There are a few other tracks which also might be nice to have. Please listen, enjoy, and vote if you would like to see it (and the other tracks) added, thanks. Smile

Respectfully Submitted,

FerrisBueller

P.S. Here is the link to Georgetown.

The instrumental version of the Love Theme was more popular than the song itself back in the day. I think it should be here also, not just on SST.

Wikipedia: David Foster's instrumental piece "Love Theme from St. Elmo's Fire" was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1986 for Best Pop Instrumental Performance, but lost to Jan Hammer's "Miami Vice Theme."

I feel the instrumental version is better than the vocal, and is an instrumental track that is MORE than worthy of being in the playlist here.

Please add!
