I was watching Weird Science (again) the other night, when I noticed a really great song playing. After a bit of checking, I learned it was Max Carl's lovely 80s hit "The Circle." Max also penned the hit "Second Chance," for .38 Special. Since the soundtrack for Weird Science isn't available yet on Streaming Soundtracks... and it's not here either... There are two reasons why it is not on SST.
With a few exceptions, there are no 'compiled' soundtracks there. One of the rules are that soundtrackalbum must be original made for that movie. Secondly it is a vocal soundtrack. Like here we do not have many instrumental songs, on SST we want almost only instremental tracks.
Here it could be suitable (Weird Science - Oingo Boingo and Eighties - Killing Joke are already present here) only the album is never released as CD.

The purchasing link is to a rare copy of the soundtrack on CD. So (evidently) it was released... but a copy is tough to find.

The CDs listed on Amazon look like bootlegs, probably recorded from the LP or Cassette. I could be wrong however. |

I don't know if this will work... but I will mention it as I give this thread a little *BUMP*.
Someone has done a CD transfer, which you can purchase with the vinyl album here. They claim it is a perfectly legal transfer; perhaps if you buy the vinyl album with the CD, fair use provisions would allow you to use the CD transfer. Consult with your legal team and see what they say. 
Hopefully this will allow the album to be added to the playlist.
