"How Will the Wolf Survive?" was the major label debut album for Los Lobos.
From Rolling Stone: "Mixing the soul of rural Mexican music with good-rocking American roots, How Will the Wolf Survive? is one of the best records of 1984...There isn't a dud among these songs. It's the kind of record that dances you around till you're worn out."

Voted yes.
The songs on here are good, with the exception of #3 and #7. They have more of a Tejano sound (think Mexican polka music, complete with accordion). Of course, I am a bit biased, as I hear Tejano all the time in central Texas, even when I try not to. But the other tracks seem interesting... _________________ "The question isn't 'What are we going to do today?'-- It's 'What *aren't* we going to do today?'" |
