Eros Ramazzotti is one of the most popular Italian singer/songwriters in modern music and he is a megastar in much of the rest of Europe as well.
This is his very first album - and some still consider it one of his best.
His song "Terra Promessa" won first place in 1984 at the San Remo Music Festival and was his big breakthrough. His next single "Una Storia Importante" was a big hit in much of Europe and also appears on this album, but all of the songs are worth a listen.
He has a distinctive voice and very catchy melodies. Give it a listen and see for yourself. I do have to warn you though - after a few listens you might find yourself singing along (or trying to... if your Italian is like mine).  |
