Mecano was a Spanish pop band that got their start in the early 80s. "Entre el Cielo y el Suelo" (between heaven and earth) was the album that established them internationally, with sales in Spain and the Americas, as well as in Germany, France and Italy, and was the first album in Spain to reach 1 million sales worldwide.
It contains their hit singles "Hijo de la Luna" and "Cruz de Navajas" which both reached #1 in many Spanish-speaking countries. "Hijo de la Luna" also went on to be covered by several other artists.
