OK I saw this thread on another 24Seven.FM station.

This is my story:

I have learned about this station through the site of StreamingSoundTracks

Five months ago (It feels much longer ago) a colleague told me about StreamingSoundTracks. After an evening browsing and listening to it, I began to love it very much and became a member. 2 weeks later I became an Annual VIP member.

2 months later I noticed that there were more stations from "the makers of" SST. So I listen to this station and liked it also. When I was browsing through some posts I saw there is a 24Seven VIP membership that will give you VIP status to all 24Seven stations.

So depending on my mood, time of the day, I am switching through these stations.

Smile

It was also through SST that I found this place. One day, SST was being especially iffy, so I clicked on the 24seven.FM, LLC link on the bottom of the page. Ta da!

Found it way back when 1980s.fm was just a box with "Now playing" in it.
Went away and forgot all about it. Wink
Today I had enough of SST for the day and just decided to check out 1980s.fm once more.
So HERE I AM!
NOW AND EVAH!

Mmm, I learned about this station nearly a year ago... When JERIC said there would be a new station by the end of the year but didn't tell the radio's theme...

I thought it would be a polka station. Somehow, I think the 80s concept is better after all! Wink

Yes an 80s stations is much better than a polka station Smile

Great the Jeric thought of this concept.

I just like me 80's music tunes and 1980s.FM plays some obsecure 80's tracks that commercial radio won't play. I found the link at SST Site as I'm a member there also. Cool
