It was originally written, recorded, and intended to be the first solo album by guitarist Tony Iommi, but due to label pressures and the prompting of band manager Don Arden, the record was billed as Black Sabbath featuring Tony Iommi.

I think to Black Sabbath must be said nothing else. One of the best Metal bands of all times. Cool Cool Cool

Cool album. "Heart Like a Wheel" has a blues-y feel to it, while "Sphinx" doesn't sound like Black Sabbath at *all*. Supported... Smile
