Some of us would like to donate albums to 1980s.fm... however, albums from the 80s are not always available in perfectly new condition.

I was wondering-- is there a minimum acceptable condition for new albums? As an example, should albums be "Very Good" (as found on Amazon.com) or better? Or, should we just offer new albums in the best condition that is available at the time of donation?

Thanks for the feedback...

Ferris

Good question. Also, if albums are donated, will the entire album be available, or just certain tracks?

Albums should not be in "New State". I have donated used CDs with "Ver Good" amazon status. Often the state says more about the cover or littles scratches on the CD which will not efect the quality of the sound.

Normally donated albums will be added entirely but always check it with JERIC.

What Sirius said. As long as I can rip the CD with no data errors and get a good quality scan of the cover art, that is all I need.
