Paparazzi - Cold In A Warm Climate

Absolutely Brilliant - how come I have never heard this band before? They are equally as good if not better than their well known contemporaries so how could they have passed under the radar? - They should be making records now let alone be so shrouded in mystery - does anyone know anything about this band -no-one can be this good and have no-one know anything at all about them. If you have any info please contact me I would love to know.

Iron Maiden - Somewhere In Time
Wasted Years |
"Wasted Years" was the fourteenth single released by Iron Maiden and the first from their Somewhere in Time album. Released in 1986, it was the first single to be written by guitarist Adrian Smith alone. It is a song about reflecting on the past. It's the only song on Somewhere In Time that features no synthesizers.

Stranger In A Strange Land |
This song was written by Adrian Smith and maybe reminiscent of Robert Heinlein's novel of the same name, it is actually unrelated. ˜Stranger In A Strange Land" is about a man trapped in the arctic and whose frozen body was eventually discovered years later. It is apparently based on a real expedition, and Smith was inspired to write the song after talking to one of the survivors (who was an Iron Maiden fan).

Iron Maiden - Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
The Clairvoyant |
"The Clairvoyant" relates the reflections of the Seventh Son of a Seventh Son on his life and powers. He is now a fully-fledged seer and has learned to control his visions. However, these become rapidly overwhelming and he eventually confuses what he really sees with what he sees with his mind's eye. Death is now for him the only way out. Did his powers kill him or did he commit suicide?
