INXS - Kick

Great CD from INXS |

Kick does not disappoint. It has been an underrated album during the late 80's. Like fine wine it gets better with time. With classics such as "Need You Tonight," "New Sensations," and "Never Tear Us Apart," brings back great memories. Then there are gems that go unnoticed such as "Mystify," and "The Loved One," which INXS remade twice the last one in their style. Still revelant after 32 years.

This is Huey Lewis' BEST album. 7 of the 9 songs received airplay. 4 of them charted. If you have an interest in Huey Lewis or are on a renaissance, this is where you start.

I got this album as a gift mixed tape.....the album was pretty much lack luster other than the Ebony and Ivory track and the only other song was Take It Away, which had an interesting, if not ambiguous video.

Don't just stand there.....ADD MORE TRACKS!! This amazing group from Halifax Nova Scotia, CANADA, came out with this power house album (I still have the vinyl record). Listened to it the just last week and forgot about all the other tracks on this record. Definitely worthy of a full listen to.

This album is probably one of Billy's best albums. I remember I had the cassette of this album pretty much worn out in my car as it played over and over and over. Great driving tunes to keep your senses on a heightened level of awareness, as a young punk in his little Mazda, negotiated the high speed death trap of Toronto's 401. Definitely need all the tracks available for this one please.

This whole album is fantastic, and the missing song are some of the best they've written. I hope we can get the entire album sometime!

The collaboration of YES's Jon Anderson and Vangelis is a brilliant journey of sound. Vangelis, famous for the soundtracks for Chariots of Fire and the original Blade Runner films, is a unique sound, with sampling of movie clips added in to create a distinctive listening atmosphere. The fantastic track of the Friends of Mr Cairo is epic. Would love to see more tracks available for this album.
