Cindy - Love Life
| who is THIS Cindy? |
Mayumi Yamamoto, who's stage name was Cindy, was apparently big in Japan. But she's dead now (died in 2001)
But now, here, we get access to her complete debut album. Thanks Krazyormus!!

The Arrows - Talk Talk: The Best Of The Arrows
| strait shooting...The Arrows....an underated group. |
A great Canadian band that unfortunately didn't go too far outside Canada.
Lead by Dean McTaggart who wrote not only for the Arrows, but also later in life for another Canadian artist Amanda Marshall's two biggest hits, "Birmingham" and the haunting "Black Horse"
One of the Arrows band members, saxophonist, Earl Seymore guested on Platinum Blonde's Alien Shores, "Somebody, Somewhere"
Thanks for having this complete album available here.

Wow.....just.....wow.
This can't be played when at the office. Have your mute button ready.
And do you know what NWA supposedly stands for?
I'd rather listen to Michael Bolton.

Micky Dolenz & Peter Tork, The Monkees - Greatest Hits
| Why a band from the 1960's appears at 1980s.fm ? |

If you are wondering about this, here is the answer:
"That Was Then, This Is Now" was released in 1986 as part of the compilation album, "That Was Then, This Is Now".
"Heart And Soul" was released in 1987 in album "Pool It!".

Vinnie Vincent Invasion - Vinnie Vincent Invasion
| DO NOT REQUEST "INVASION" |
You WILL BE SORRY as the last minute and a half of the song is the sound of an air siren going off. There was a guy who used to request it all the time, but it would drive you insane, and you would have to mute the player. I think he did it on purpose.
( Is there a way to edit this track, to get rid of that ending....or at least chop it?)
Otherwise, the rest of the album is great. Great hair band and one of the members of this band went on to form Slaughter.

Whitesnake - Slide It In
| Need to SLIDE in some more songs off this album |
So many COOL tracks on this sixth studio album outing of David Coverdale's group, White Snake. Such OVER the top sexually suggestive lyrics and titles blended wicked riffs giving this album legendary status...worthy of any cassette tape player. We just need to get those other tracks, like "Slide It In", "Spit it Out" and "Slow and Easy".
